A jury found defendant Christopher Clark Box and Manuel Flores, Jr., guilty of the first degree murders of April Gilhousen, her three-year- old son Bryan, and a house guest, Kevin Chandler (Pen. Code, §§ 187, subd. (a), 189), *fn1 the attempted premeditated murder of Rodney Almond (§§ 664, 187, subd. (a), 189), first degree robbery (§ 211), conspiracy to commit robbery (§ 182(a)(1)), and residential burglary (§ 459). The jury also found that defendant and Flores had personally used a deadly weapon in the robbery, burglary, and in the murders of April Gilhousen and Kevin Chandler (§ 12022), and that defendant had personally used a deadly weapon and inflicted great bodily injury in the attempted murder of Almond (§§ 12022, 12022.7). The jury further found true as to defendant the special-circumstance allegations of murder during the commission of robbery and burglary, and multiple murder. (§ 190.2, subd. (a)(3), (a)(17)(A), (a)(17)(G).) Defendant was sentenced to death.
